Cycle 1

Cycle 1 begins: Sept 6

Mid-cycle break: Nov 4-6

Cycle 1 ends: Dec 17

Cycle 2

Cycle 2 begins: Jan 3

Mid-cycle break: Mar. 25-27

Cycle 2 ends: Apr 15

The 8-month program lasts for Cycles one and two. YAC members who successfully complete these two Cycles will be eligible to graduate from the program and be on the road to a meaningful career or business opportunity. For 2021, there will be two primary career training opportunities: (1) Information Technology (IT) and (2) Agriculture (hydroponics).

Cycles 3 & 4

Students who have successfully graduated after Cycle 2 have the option to remain in the program to receive additional support in the job search process or with the planning and execution of a business endeavor.

These two additional Cycles are optional and may include support for additional online learning to meet a specific career or business goal and mentorship. The activities for these Cycles are customized to meet the needs of the YAC members who elect to continue in the program to receive additional support.

During Cycle 4, YAC members may be selected to become leaders in training for future YAC cohorts.
